In our workshop, Dr. Deniz and his team engaged participants in an engineering design activity that lends itself to integration of science content and, reading

and writing activities. Our workshop provided a framework for integrating science, engineering, and language arts at the elementary level while

addressing the Next Generation Science Standards.
